Qualifications
● Professional programming experience in Python
● With hands-on development experience in the following technologies:
✓ Flask/Django
✓ Numpy/pandas
✓ SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others.)
✓ NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch, Cassandra, or others)
✓ ETL
✓ Linux
✓ Docker
Nice to have:
• Experience with TensorFlow/Scikit-learn/OpenCV or other ML/AI frameworks.
• Hadoop/HDFS/Hive
• You are proficient at developing software in Python and have a mastery of data
structures and database fundamentals, with experience with big data technology
stacks.
• Good understanding of system engineering, scalability, and algorithms
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural environment
• Team player, proactive and open to new learnings
• Experience with machine learning is a plus.
• You have a strong foundation in Computer Science and at least some exposure
to fundamentals of Machine Learning. Regardless of your formal training, you get
enthusiastic from reading up on modern machine learning techniques and
applications.
Job responsibilities:
• Develop robust, scalable production web applications and data products based
on prototype algorithms developed in Python by the data science R&D team.
• You’ll evaluate trade-offs and do performance tuning for production traffic.
• Use your engineering skills to help design solutions to novel problems in software
development and data engineering.
• Build data pipelines. Transform and convert data streams into structures needed
for algorithm input.
